Co-owners and brothers Dan & Anthony Ferriolo’s adventure began on New Year’s Eve 2007. What a great night to be at Ristorante Avanti. A New Year and a new restaurant both rang in with taste and style. The two brothers have brought Italian tradition, a creative perspective and a desire for perfection to their casual dining establishment.

You may remember the locations other restaurant, including the former Da Luciano but with its warm earthen tones and accents of copper, the ambiance reflects Dan & Anthony’s new approach that has characterized the history of the Italian dining experience.

Both Culinary Arts graduates of St. Clair College and who have both worked on Erie Street, Dan & Anthony’s creativity in preparing each dish is inspired by the love of great food. The brothers draw from their Italian background and a variety of regional cooking. Dan & Anthony make a great team! While at times you may only see Anthony in the kitchen preparing your meal and Dan in the dining room making sure the customers are well taken care of, both brothers share equal responsibility, from customer relations to preparing your meal, Dan and Anthony are involved in all aspects of their business.
